Making It To The Starting Line

Message To My Sister Week 13

I cannot believe how the time has flown. When I asked Donna to run this race, I was a little nervous. What if she starts training and hates it? What if something goes wrong and it turns her off of running all together? But she has done beautifully and I have felt so privileged to be able to connect with her each week through these videos.

This week I talk to Donna about those weeks at the end of the training cycle when it suddenly begins to occur to us that getting to the starting line is almost harder than making it to the finish line. We have come to realize that if we start the race we will finish it. But what are the guarantees that we will get to the start without injuring ourselves.
